One of our greatest strengths as a denomination is our connectional system, which demonstrates in a very real way our ties with other churches and organizations as sisters and brothers in the faith and as the living body of Christ in the world. Therefore, it is very appropriate to share the following links to these organizations that are associated with us in one way or another:

Blackhawk Presbytery. This group consists of some 85 Presbyterian churches located in the northern third of Illinois, but outside the immediate Chicago area.

Stronghold Camp and Conference Center. This is the Blackhawk Presbytery retreat center located, like the presbytery office itself, in Oregon, Illinois.

Synod of Lincoln Trails. This group is made up of all Presbyterian Churches in Illinois and Indiana.

Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Our denominational headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky.

Home page for the Hallead family, who serve as Presbyterian missionaries in Accra, Ghana, Africa. The Halleads formerly served a church in Blackhawk Presbytery, as well as performing missionary work in Thailand, before going to their current posting. We help support their ministry financially and through our prayers.

Galena/Jo Daviess County Convention & Visitors Bureau. This group helps promote the many annual events and activities which take place in the Galena area.

AFA Project. The AFA Project is a program designed to make comfort items for kids diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. It is run by CJ, Nala & Blair Burroughs, members of this congregation.
